Great game

This is a great game but I give it 4 stars because ever since I upgraded to iOS 9 this game has been so lag. Please fix this and I will give 5 Stars

Buy It

Do yourself a favor and buy this game. Not only is it addictively fun, it has real heart. People are not kidding around when the talk about how good this award winning music is. The narration, acting, story, and flow of the game is great. I was a little hesitant to play an iOS version of a respected PC/console game, but it worked really well (although I recommend using Classic Controls - you get more, well, control).

Good game with some flawed mechanics

The ground shakes so much that its distracting to gameplay. And falling off the platform is so meaningless.

Its been so long...

Ive had the "Bastion" for around 5 1/2 years. It deserves a 5+ star-rate. I have played and replayed it countless times. It is my all-time favorite go-to application. It is beautifully made. (However, everything can be made "better." There should be an update including more content and features after the storyline is fully completed. It would bring the players back who have already completed the game multiple times.)

awesome game

great game, first rpg game i play beginning to end

Amazing!!!!

One of the best games of all time, money well spent

Really fun

A great combat arpg for everyone

Impeccable

Simply stunning. From the concept, the art direction, the amazing poignant narration its a timeless classic that should be played and replayed.

Lagging in my iPhone 5s

Choppy gane play... Pls fix

Awesome Game!

Just started new game plus! Fun game. Previous problems with lag were reduced (but not fully eliminated) and game was playable.

Worth every penny, amazing!!

I loved the game, from beginning to end. The soundtrack is top notch, the voice over immersive, the controls fluid and intuitive. I would recommend this game 11 out of 10. And if you like it, go to try their other game, Transistor. It is equally amazing.

Easily 5 stars

I had so much fun playing this game. Its more than just a game too: its a story. All the customization really makes you feel as though you are playing through the story with your own decisions; the controls and options just make this game more fun. Not sure how i feel about the whole idols shenanigans, but this game is definitely worth your time. Or i guess, maybe it isnt if youve got better things to do.

Stop reading and buy it: youre gonna love it!

Ive played hundreds of games on iOS, and Bastion is by far one of the most excellent. Seamless and engaging gameplay, wonderful music, beautiful graphics, and a well thought out story (albeit a minimalist story, which totally works with the Bastions mysterious and artistic style). I *HIGHLY* recommend it, and have purchased it as a gift for several friends. Enjoy!

This game was flat out amazing. When I was a kid, I loved reading books, my favorites being those filled with action, adventure, and and anything magical. As I grew, I wanted to stop using my imagination to view the story and see if it can be portrayed better or even in a different way in games or movies. Movies were good in that it puts things into perspective but most of the time it quite show what your were thinking. Games, however, were to be controlled. So, I started looking for a game the bad the story layout of a book and the feel as though Im playing through a movie, my movie, without the crappy movie-to-app effects. But I never found anything that came close to this, the beautiful effects, the depth of the characters, and the story were spot on. (Serious Spoiler alert) What really got me, was near the end when u have to choose between the OP Battering ram or to pick up and carry the limp body of the misunderstood man who nearly destroyed all that you worked to build... Before continuing through a horde of relatively tough enemies. When I chose to take Zulf with me I was worried at how all the enemies were letting loose a rain of bullets as I slowly made my way up the path..... then they stopped and I noticed I had neither a health bar or attack options.... They moved out of the way so that I could pass, one ura still felt the need to shoot me but was quickly silenced but her superior<===this told me so much, I instantly pictured this scene in a movie and at the same time imagined it in my head as if using imagery from a book

Great!

A very innovative game with lots of twists and turns. The narration makes the world come alive and engrossed you in the plight of the protagonist. The game mechanic is fluid and easy to use. Tons of weapons and ways to spec out your strengths. Highly recommended.

Beautiful Little Game

Beautiful game for fans of Transistor. Easy to learn difficult to master, which is the way its supposed to be. Definitely wear headphones to get the story.

Amazing!

I absolutely love this game. It made every bus and train ride fly by, and its hands down the best game Ive ever played on an iPhone. Its as addicting as Pokemon was for me back in the day... Brilliantly fun!

Fun game, bad port

The game was fun up until the final area. The game crashes every time I get near the end, and it makes me redo the entire area over again.

Oh yes!

Anyone who complains of lag or bad port just has an old device. This game is epic and you must experience it. Very few games these days offer what this game does. The voice acting is amazing. The storyline and gameplay is seamless. This isnt a game for the kiddos; only a mature brain can appreciate this masterpiece. Worth the price ten fold.

One of the greats

Easily the best game Ive seen on iOS one for the ages
